Metal Coating
Product list
Potassium Chloride
In the metal coating industry, particularly in electroplating and galvanizing, potassium chloride (KCl) is used as a key electrolyte in plating baths. It improves the conductivity of the bath, ensuring efficient deposition of metals such as zinc or nickel onto surfaces. Potassium chloride also promotes smoother, uniform coatings by enhancing the overall metal ion distribution during the electroplating process, resulting in better-quality finished products.
Potassium Carbonate, Granular
Granular potassium carbonate (K₂CO₃) is utilized in electroplating baths as a pH regulator and buffer. It helps maintain the alkalinity of the solution, ensuring that the electroplating process runs efficiently and uniformly. This is essential for the proper adhesion and evenness of the metal layer being deposited. Its granular form is often preferred for ease of handling and slow dissolution in large-scale industrial processes.
Potassium Carbonate, Fine Powder
Fine powder potassium carbonate (K₂CO₃) is also used in electroplating and galvanics but is favored for applications that require quick dissolution. It acts as a pH stabilizer in plating baths, helping to balance the alkalinity and improve the uniform deposition of metal coatings. Its fine texture allows for more rapid integration into the bath, making it suitable for processes where fast adjustments are needed to maintain consistent plating quality.
