Amino Acids
Amino Acids are the building blocks of proteins, which are essential for nearly every biological process in an animal’s body. Just like in humans, animals need Amino Acids for:
– Growth and development
– Muscle maintenance and repair
– Hormone and enzyme production
– Immune system support
The Amino Acids we provide are known as the essential Amino Acids. The animals cannot produce amino acids on their own and therefore they must get them from their diet.

Trace Elements
Trace Elements in animal nutraceuticals are micro-nutrients (minerals required in very small amounts) that play critical roles in maintaining animal health, growth, reproduction, and immune function.

Support the blood formation and the nervous system function
Iron:
Is essential for the oxygen transport and the energy metabolism

DS/EN ISO 9001:2015 is an internationally recognized standard for quality management systems. In the context of animal nutraceuticals, it ensures that products are consistently manufactured to meet customer and regulatory requirements, with a strong focus on process control, risk management, and continuous improvement. By adhering to DS/EN ISO 9001:2015, we ensure that the feed ingredients we distribute comply with the highest safety and quality standards. Our subsidiaries, Chr. Olesen A/S in Denmark, Chr. Olesen GmbH in Germany, and Chr. Olesen SA in Belgium, are certified according to DS/EN ISO 9001:2015 standards. However, the processes and principles are implemented throughout the entire group of Chr. Olesen subsidiaries within Europe and the USA.
FAMI-QS is a globally recognized certification system for companies producing or selling feed additives and premixes. This certification shows that we meet standards in accordance with European feed hygiene regulations in preventing unsafe ingredients from entering the food chain. Chr. Olesen A/S in Denmark, Chr. Olesen GmbH in Germany, and Chr. Olesen SA in Belgium, are certified according to FAMI-QS – but the processes and principles of FAMI-QS are implemented throughout all our subsidiaries in Europe and the USA.
FCA Ovocom certification (Feed Chain Alliance) is a Belgian quality standard for the animal feed sector that ensures feed safety, traceability, and compliance with EU legislation. It covers all activities in the feed chain (production, trade, transport, and storage) and helps companies meet legal and sector-specific requirements through a validated self-checking system. It’s widely recognized and often required for market access, especially in Europe. Our subsidiaries, Chr. Olesen A/S in Denmark, Chr. Olesen GmbH in Germany, and Chr. Olesen SA in Belgium, are certified according to FAMI-QS standards. However, the processes and principles are implemented throughout the entire group of Chr. Olesen subsidiaries within Europe and the USA.
